  • How to Make an Anklet

Get ready for the warm months with this chunky cord anklet!

There’s nothing like an anklet for getting you into a relaxed mood. It’s the perfect accessory for warm summer nights (or any time really)! This anklet has been made out of some cord recycled from a shopping bag, so you can make your purchases go even further!

You will need the following tools and materials to make your anklet:

1: Pliers. You will need your flat nose pliers and round nose pliers to make this anklet.

A pair of flat nose pliers
A pair of round nose pliers

3: A piece of chunky cord cut to length so that it fits comfortably around your ankle. I used this black piece of cord from a shopping bag.

2: Take one of the crimp ends and place it on one end of the cord.

3: Use the flat nose pliers to squeeze the crimp end around the cord, securing it in place.

6: Add the other jump ring to the other end of the anklet, closing it using your pliers.

Once the final jump ring is in place your anklet is finished and ready to wear. You could add some charms to your anklet for some extra pizazz!
