How to make a double-strand knot necklace.
This one didn’t really turn out how I had anticipated, but I thought I would share it with you anyway. I had more success making two beaded strands to knot together compared to this design that knots together a beaded strand with a chunky chain. If you don’t want the chain just make one bead strand and knot it loosely in the middle for a cool knot necklace look! This tutorial contains affiliate links.
You’ll need the following tools and materials to make your double-strand knot necklace:
1: Tiger tail wire. Make it a little longer than the chain you are using.
2: Four crimp beads.
3: Pliers. I used cutting, flat-nose and round-nose pliers.
4: A length of chunky chain.
5: Two jump rings.
6: A lobster clasp.
7: Beads. I used some blue plastic beads and some green glass beads.
Follow these steps to make your two-strand knot necklace.
1: Add the crimps to one end of the tiger tail wire.
2: Add the jump ring and loop the end of the wire around it and back through the crimp beads.
3: Squash the crimp beads using the flat nose pliers.
4: Begin adding the beads in your chosen pattern.
5: Bead until it is at your desired length.
6: Add the second pair of crimp beads to the wire and repeat steps 2 and 3 to secure the beads onto the strand.
7: Trim the excess wire using the cutting pliers.
8: Add the chain to the bead strand by opening the jump rings at either end of the necklace and adding the ends of the chain.
9: Add a lobster clasp to the necklace.
10: Tie the strands into a loose knot that sits at the centre of the necklace opposite the lobster clasp closure.
Now your necklace is finished and ready to wear! Like I said, the chain looks a bit weird on this one, so you can leave it out if you like. You could also make the double strand necklace and skip the knot!

Do you like triangle-shaped jewelry? Here’s a way to make some triangle earrings.
I’m pretty into geometric triangle-shaped jewelry, these earrings use eye pins and chain to form a cool dynamic triangle shaped pair of dangly earrings. This design is pretty much the reverse of these earrings and this pendant that we published previously.
Here are the tools and materials you need to make these earrings:
1: Pliers. I used my round and flat nose pliers for these earrings.
2: Two long eye pins.
3: Two head pins.
4: Two short chains, around 8-10cm long
5: Four jump rings.
6: Earring findings. I used gold-tone post earrings.
7: Beads. I used some rose-quartz chip beads and some purple glass seed beads.
Follow these steps to make your triangle earrings:
1: Add beads to the eye pins in your pattern of choice.
2: Loop the end of the pins using the round nose pliers once you have finished beading them.
3: Add each of the chains to either end of the eye pins to form a loop on earring earring.
4: Add beads to the head pins and curl the tops of the pin to secure the beads in place.
5: Attach the head pin charms to the chains using two of the jump rings.
6: Attach the earring findings to the middle of each beaded eye pin using the last couple of large jump rings.
Now your triangle earrings are finished and ready to wear!

Did you like our D-shaped earrings tutorial? Well here is how you can use a similar technique to make a beaded D-shaped pendant. This design includes a beaded chain accent as well. I really like this design and have made a few versions of it! Maybe you’ve seen some on my Instagram, @hfgjewelsbalmain ?

You’ll need these tools and materials to make this D-shaped beaded pendant necklace:
1: Pliers. I used cutting pliers, flat nose pliers and round nose pliers.
2: Half a coil of bracelet length memory wire.
3: One long eye pin.
4: Two pieces of chain.
5: A lobster clasp.
6: Six small eye pins.
7: A couple of jump rings.
8: Beads. I used six shiny blue plastic beads and a selection of pastel-tone glass seed beads.
Now here are all the steps to follow to make your D-shaped beaded pendant:
1: Add the blue beads to each of the small eye pins.
2: Create loops at the top of each pin to secure the beads in place.
3: Attach three of the bead charms together to form a short chain.
4: Repeat for the remaining three charms so that you have two small chains.
5: Set the bead chains aside.
6: Create a loop at one end of the memory wire.
7: Add the beads to the memory wire until there is only 1cm left without beads.
8: Create another loop at the other end of the memory wire to secure the beads on.
9: Add beads to the long eye pin and create a loop at the other end as you did with the memory wire.
10: Attach either end of the long eye pin to the loops at the end of the memory wire to form the D shape.
11: Attach each of the bead chains to either side of the D charm.
12: Attach a piece of chain to each of the bead chains to form the full length necklace chain.
13: Attach a lobster clasp to one side of the necklace using one of the jump rings.
14: Attach the other jump ring to finish the necklace.
Now it is finished and ready to wear! How will you customise this design?

You’ll need the following tools and materials to make your sequin charm bracelet:
1: Pliers. I used round nose and flat nose pliers.
2: A piece of bracelet length chain with large-ish links.
3: Two large jump rings.
4: A lobster clasp.
5: A bunch of smaller jump rings.
6: Sequins with holes at the top.
Follow these steps to make your cute sequin charm bracelet:
1: Attach the large jump rings and clasp to either end of the bracelet chain.
2: Take a sequin and add one of the small jump rings to the top.
3: Keeping the jump ring open, slide it through one of the links of the chain.
4: Close the jump ring to secure the first sequin to the bracelet.
5: Repeat steps 2-4 until the bracelet is fully covered with sequin charms. I added mine approximately 4 links apart. These sequins are large so that they will overlap.
Once all your sequins are attached your sequin charm bracelet is finished and ready to wear!!

I really love this design! Make your own gemstone arch earrings.
These arch earrings are really really cool! You make them by hammering some pretty wire and add your fave gemstones to make your own version. I used some cute pink rhodonite gemstone chip beads, what kind of beads will you use? This tutorial contains affiliate links.
Here are the tools and materials I used to make my gemstone arch earrings:
1: Pliers. I used cutting pliers for this design. I also used flat nose and round nose pliers on the jump rings.
2: Two pieces of wire. I used some gold-filled wire, approximately 8cm long.
3: A file or sandpaper for getting rid of the rough edges of the wire.
4: A hammering block.
5: A hammer. I used a normal hammer but a jewelry specific hammer might be better ;).
6: Earring findings. I used these gold-tone stud earrings.
7: Two jump rings.
8: Beads. As mentioned before, I used eight rhodonite gemstone chip beads.
9: Something round to bend your wires around. I used a permanent marker.
Follow these steps to make your own wire arch earrings:
1: Hammer one end of each of the wires. Hammer on the steel block and hit the wire on both sides so that it becomes wide and flat.
2: Add four beads to each of the wires.
3: Push the beads to the hammered ends of the wires.
4: Hammer the other end of the wires the same way as you did in step 1. Make sure you make the wires wide enough so that your beads don’t slip off.
5: File or sandpaper the ends of the hammered wires so that they aren’t sharp.
6: Take your wires, find the mid point and bend them around the permanent marker to form an arch shape.
7: Add the earrings to each of the arches using the jump rings.
Now your arch earrings are finished!

Ankle wear is cool! Here’s how to make a wrap anklet with clip on charms.
This anklet is so cool! It is made from chunky chain that wraps twice around your ankle and has three cute clip on charms. This is sure to keep you busy for a little while, make tonnes of charms so that your ankle feels fancy!
You’ll need the following tools and materials to make your wrap anklet with charms:
1: A length of chain long enough to wrap twice around your ankle.
2: Two medium sized jump rings.
3: A small lobster clasp.
4: Three head pins
5: Three large jump rings.
6: Three large lobster clasps.
7: Beads. I used these resin beads with some green glass beads.
8: Pliers. I used cutting pliers, round nose pliers and flat nose pliers.
Here are the steps to make your wrap anklet with clip on charms:
1: Add jump rings to either side of the length of chain.
2: Before closing one of the jump rings add the small lobster clasp. You can set the chain aside for a moment at this stage.
3: Add the beads to each of the head pins.
4: Bend the pins at a right angle and trim them so that there is only approximately 1cm exposed.
5: Loop the tops of each pin using the round nose pliers to secure the beads on the pins.
7: Add a jump ring to each charm.
8: Attach each of the charms to each of the large lobster clasps and secure them by closing the jump ring.
9: Attach the charms to the chain wherever you choose. Now your anklet is finished!

This ring is pretty fun, made with a mixture of different beads threaded onto some ring sized memory wire, this ring is cute, versatile and cheerful. I enjoyed making this one while I was chilling at home. This tutorial
You’ll need these tools and materials to make your own fun memory wire ring:
1: Pliers. I used my round nose pliers, cutting pliers (to cut the memory wire) and flat nose pliers.
2: Ring-sized memory wire. I cut mine to have two full coils.
3: Beads. I used a mixture of feature beads in different materials, two matching beads for the charms and some green glass seed beads.
4: Two small head pins.
5: Two small jump rings.
Here’s the steps to make your cool beaded memory wire coil ring.
1: After cutting your ring wire to your desired length, create a circle at one end using your round nose pliers.
2: Begin adding beads. I added mine in a random pattern alternating between feature beads and green glass beads.
3: Bead the ring until you have approximately 1cm left unbeaded.
4: Coil the end of the wire like you did at the start to form a loop and secure the beads on the wire.
5: Set the ring aside.
6: Add the two matching beads to each of the head pins.
7: Coil the tops of the headpins around the barrel of the round nose pliers to secure the beads in place.
8: Attach each of the bead charms to the end loops of the ring using the small jump rings.
Now your ring is finished! It will stretch to fit larger fingers too which is pretty cool. Will you wear your charms backwards or forwards?

3: Two long eye pins.
4: Two pieces of chain, not too long.

Follow these steps to make your D-shaped statement earrings:
1: Use the round nose pliers to make a loop at one end of the memory wire half circle.
2: Add the beads to around halfway on the curve.
3: Add the statement bead to the centre of the curve.
4: Bead the remaining part of the curve with the glass beads again until there is about 1cm left un-beaded.
5: Create a loop at the other end of the memory wire curve using the round nose pliers again.
6: Repeat steps 1 to 5 for the second piece of memory wire.
7: Add beads to the long eye pin and leave 1cm un-beaded at the end. Repeat for both pins.
8: Create a loop at the end of both pins using the round nose pliers.
9: Attach each of the beaded eye pins to the top of each memory wire curve. This will create a tighter curve on each piece of memory wire and form the D shape.
10: Attach the chain to each side of the D shape using the small jump rings. Both D shapes will now have a chain loop attached to them.
11: Add one of the larger jump rings to each of the earring posts.
12: Attach the earrings to the charms by threading the chain through each of the open jump rings. Close the jump rings on the earring posts to secure them together.
Now your earrings are finished and ready to wear!
