Here’s another delicate dangling beaded chain to add to your jewelry box!
I love dainty chain necklaces that accentuate lovely beads. If you love to layer your beads and chains then why not add this dangling bead chain necklace to your personal jewelry collection. A special bead pattern will make this design really POP! What will you wear with your pretty new necklace? I can’t wait to layer mine with a lovely stack of delicate chain necklaces.
You will need the following tools and materials to make your dangling beaded chain necklace:
1: Pliers. You will need your flat nose pliers and round nose pliers.
2: A length of chain, make sure that it fits comfortably around your neck.
3: Eight small head pins.
4: One lobster clasp.
5: One jump ring.
6: Beads of your choice. I used some small gold bugle beads and eight blue faux pearl beads.
Here are the steps for making your delicate dangling bead necklace:
1: Add the beads in your desired pattern to each of the head pins.
2: Once all your head pins have been beaded, use the round nose pliers to bend the pin at a right angle to the beaded section.
3: Create a loop at the top of each pin using the round nose pliers. This will secure the beads in place.
4: Once all your pins have been looped you can prepare to attach them to the necklace chain.
5: Work out where you want to place the first bead charm.
6: Open the loop on the first bead charm and slide it onto a chain link close to the middle of the necklace chain.
7: Once the charm is in place, close the loop again using the round nose pliers to secure the bead charm in place.
8: Measure out the next point to which you will attach the next bead charm, I attached my beads 5 chain links apart. Attach the second charm.
9: Continue to attach the bead charms, placing the final 4 charms on the other side of the first charm you attached to ensure that they are placed evenly along the necklace chain.
10: Once all your bead charms have been attached, open a link at the end of the necklace chain and slide the lobster clasp onto the open link.
11: Close the link again to secure the clasp in place.
12: Open a jump ring and attach it to the other side of the necklace chain.
13: Once the final jump ring is in place your necklace is complete and ready to wear!

This delicate and dainty chain drop necklace is an absolute stunner! Using two pieces of chain and some cleverly placed jump rings you can create your own beautiful, modern necklace that is perfect for day and evening looks. And while it may look incredible, this necklace isn’t too complicated to put together.
You will need the following tools and materials to make this delicate chain drop necklace:
1: Pliers. You will need your round nose pliers and flat nose pliers to make this necklace.
2: Two pieces of chain. Cut one piece of chain so that it long enough to fit closely around your neck. The second piece of chain will be shorter, I made mine approximately 8.5cm (approx 3.3 inches) long.
3: Three jump rings.
4: One lobster clasp.
5: Three small head pins.
6: Beads of your choice. I used these different colored pearl beads.

Follow these steps to make your pretty chain necklace:
1: Open one jump ring using your pliers and add both ends of the long chain to it.
2: Add the short piece of chain to the same jump ring.
3: Close the jump ring using your round nose pliers and secure the chains together.
4: Take another jump ring and add the other end of the short piece of chain.
5: Add each of the beads to the head pins.
6: Take each of the pins and bend them at a right angle to the beads using the round nose pliers.
7: Use the round nose pliers to loop the tops of the head pins. Loop the pin a few times around the barrel of the round nose pliers so that the loop sits closely to the beads.
8: Use the round nose pliers to flatten down the ends of the pins so that they align with the loops.
9: Add all the beaded charms to the jump ring at the end of the short chain at the center of the necklace.
10: Close the jump ring to secure the beaded charms in place.
11: Find the center of the necklace loop and open a link to split the necklace ready to add the lobster clasp.
12: Add the lobster clasp to the open chain link and secure in place by closing it again using your pliers.
13: Add the third jump ring to the other side of the necklace to correspond with the lobster clasp. Once this jump ring is in place the necklace is complete!

The Bows are Back! Make your ears Some Cute bow stud earrings
So I’m assuming that you’ve already made yourself some delightful dangly bow earrings, so how about making yourself some bow stud earrings too? These earrings are as cute as can be and sit comfortably on your ear lobes. These bow stud earrings are super easy to make, check out the instructions to see for yourself!
You will need the following tools and materials to make these adorable bow stud earrings:
1: Pliers. You will need your round nose and cutting pliers to make these earrings.
2: Two bows. I used some pre-fabricated plaid orange bows.
3: Two head pins.
4: Two flat bed stud earrings.
5: Beads of your choice. I used a selection of glass beads.
6: One bamboo skewer.
7: One piece of scrap paper.
8: Araldite glue.
Araldite is so handy to have around, I highly recommend that you add some to your DIY jewelry making kit:
The steps:
1: Add the beads to each of the head pins.
2: Use the round nose pliers to bend each pin on a right angle to the beaded section.
3: Trim each pin approximately 1cm (0.4 inches) from the beaded section using the cutting pliers.
4: Use the round nose pliers to create a loop at the top of each beaded pin.
5: Open one loop slightly and slide it through the middle of the bow.
6: Close the beaded charm loop with the round nose pliers to secure it in place.
7: Repeat steps 5 and 6 for the second bow.
8: Squeeze out some glue onto the scrap paper and mix it using the skewer.
9: Apply the glue mix to the flat part of the stud earring.
10: Place the stud with glue on it to the back of one of the bows. You might need to hold it in place for a while to prevent the earring from slipping out of place.
11: Repeat steps 9 and 10 for the second earring.
12: Once the earring studs have been put in place all that is left to do is wait a little while for the glue to dry! What will you make during the drying time? Why not try making a quick ribbon choker necklace while you pass the time?

Keep Your Rocks On Display, Make Your Own Clay Ring Holders!
I love rings, and I have many more rings then I could ever wear at once. If you’re like me and you want your ring collection to stay on display so you can admire them all the time why not make yourself some ring holders? These ring holders are made out of air dry clay. Using clay gives you lots of scope for creativity, make your holders in any shape you like. This tutorial shows you the steps to make a simple ring holder.
You will need the following tools and materials to make a clay ring holder:
1: Air dry modelling clay.
I used this terracotta colored Fimo air dry clay; however this DAS terracotta air dry clay will give a similar effect!
2: Some scrap paper or baking paper to work on (this clay can get a little messy).
Here are the steps for making a simple clay ring holder:
1: Take a portion of clay out of the package to work with.
2: Work the clay with your hands for a while so that it become easier to form into shape without any cracks.
3: Once your clay has become more pliable, roll it between your hands to form a slight cone shape. Make sure the cone is thin enough at the for you to fit your rings on. Make sure that the bottom of the cone is wide enough to stop your rings from falling off completely!
4: Make the base of your ring holder flat by carefully pressing it against your work surface so that it can stand on its own. Once you’ve got the basic shape you can add some decorative elements to your ring holders. I decided to keep these ones quite plain.
5: That’s it! How easy was that? Once you have formed all the shapes that you want, place the holders in a safe place, maybe out in the sun so they can dry.
6: Once your ring holder is dry (it may take a couple of days for your clay to dry completely) it is ready to use! You can also paint your ring holders with acrylic paint to add an extra element of style. I painted these holders using turquoise and gold colored acrylic paint.

I love pom poms, they are such a fun and lively addition to simple jewelry pieces! It is so easy to inject some extra pizzazz into your jewelry designs when you use some bright and colorful pom poms. These earrings are a variation on my beaded chain drop earrings, I bet you’ll be able to have some fun experimenting with this design. There’s nothing more exciting than playing around with color and texture in your DIY jewelry designs!
You will need the following tools and materials to make these pom pom chain earrings:
1: Pliers. You will need your flat nose pliers, round nose pliers and cutting pliers to make these earrings.
2: Two pom poms. I used two different colors for my earrings.
3: Two head pins.
4: Two earring hooks.
5: Two small pieces of chain. The length depends on how far you would like your earrings to dangle!
6: Two jump rings.
7: Beads of your choice. I used two blue glass e-beads and four small timber beads.

Here are the steps to make these pom pom chain earrings:
1: Add the beads to each of the head pins. I placed a blue glass bead and one timber beads on each pin.
2: Add a pom pom to each head pin.
3: Once the pom poms have been added, add another bead to the top of each pom pom.
4: Once all the beads and pom poms have been added, use the round nose pliers to bend each pin at a right angle to the beaded section.
5: Use the cutting pliers to trim each pin approximately 1cm (0.4 inches) from the beaded section.
6: Once each pin has been trimmed, create a loop at the top of each pin using the round nose pliers.
7: Open each loop at the top of each pin slightly and add a piece of chain to each pom pom charm. Secure the chain in place by closing the loop using the round nose pliers.
8: Open a jump ring and add the earring hook.
9: While the jump ring is still open, add the chain with the charm attached as well.
10: Close the jump ring to secure the earring and chain in place.
11: Repeat steps 8 to 10 for the second earring to complete the pair.

Got Some Old Brooches Hanging Around? Here’s How to Turn them into a necklace Pendant!
I recently acquired some of my grandmother’s old costume jewelry, and among all the beads and clip on earrings I found some wonderful brooches. I am not really a brooch wearer myself so I decided to turn them into something that I would wear, a necklace. Attaching the tiger tail wire to the necklace wire can be a bit tricky, but once you have it in place the rest is smooth sailing. This tutorial is a really fun way to re-purpose and recycle old pieces that you have stashed away in your jewelry box!
You will need the following tools and materials to make a brooch pendant necklace:
1:Pliers. To make this necklace I used the round nose pliers, flat nose pliers and cutting pliers.
2: A brooch. I used this gold colored amethyst broach that was handed down from my grandmother.
3: Tiger tail wire. I used this bronze colored tiger tail wire.
4: Eight crimp beads. I used these black colored crimp beads.
5: One lobster clasp. I used this black colored lobster clasp.
6: One jump ring.
7: Beads of your choice. I used a selection of pink and white glass beads.
The steps for making this broach necklace:
1: The first step is to remove the pin from the back of the brooch. If you want to be able to use it again as a brooch i recommend skipping this step and leaving the pin where it is. To remove the pin you can either try to pull it off using your flat nose pliers or cut it off using the cutting pliers.
2: Cut a length of tiger tail wire long enough to fit comfortably around your neck.
3: Using the cutting pliers, cut the length of tiger tail wire in half. These pieces will be used to make either side of the necklace.
4: Take one piece of tiger tail wire and add two crimp beads to the end. Then wrap the end around the back pin prong on the brooch. Make sure you pull the wire tight around the pin and through the crimps to ensure that it stays in place.
5: Once the loop has been formed, squash the crimp beads using your pliers to secure the strand in place. Because of the way this brooch was formed I needed to use my round nose pliers to squash the crimps but you can also use flat nose pliers to secure the crimps in place.
6: Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the second strand, attaching it to the other pin prong on the back of the brooch.
7: Begin adding beads to one side of the necklace in your chosen pattern.
8: When you reach the end of the first strand, add two crimp beads and the lobster clasp.
9: Loop the tiger tail around the clasp and back through the crimp beads. Make sure you pull it tight before squashing the crimp beads.
10: Once your tiger tail wire has been pulled tight, use the flat nose pliers to squash the crimps and secure the end of the strand.
11: Trim any excess wire using the cutting pliers.
12: Repeat steps 7 to 11 for the second strand, this time adding the jump ring to the end rather than a clasp.
13: Once you have completed the second strand of the necklace your new piece of jewelry is complete! Using a vintage brooch is a great way to make sure that you will have a special design that no one else has. How’s that for exclusive?!

Make this cutie-pie bracelet using a charm connector today!
Have you ever seen a charm that has two loops rather than one? That’s a charm connector! These charms let you join two different strands to create unique pieces of jewelry. I have already shown you how to make a braided friendship bracelet using a charm connector, in this tutorial I will give you all the knowledge you need to make a beaded bracelet that features a pretty silver charm connector.
You will need the following tools and materials to make this charm connector bracelet:
1: Pliers. You will need your cutting pliers and your flat nose pliers to make this bracelet.
2: Tiger tail wire.
3: Eight crimp beads.
4: A toggle clasp.
6: Beads of your choice. I used some pink glass bugle beads and some blue glass seed beads.
The Steps:
1: Use your cutting pliers to cut two lengths of tiger tail wire long enough to fit halfway around your wrist. I cut mine with a little extra length to ensure that my bracelet would fit.
2: Take one piece of tiger tail wire and add two crimp beads to the end, then fold the end of the wire around one loop on the charm connector.
3: Squash the crimp beads to secure the wire and charm together using the flat nose pliers.
4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the second tiger tail strand attaching it to the other side of the charm connector.
5: Begin adding beads to one side of the bracelet. I started with the pink bugle beads.
6: Continue adding beads until the beaded section reaches approximately half way around your wrist.
7: Add two crimp beads to the strand.
8: Add one side of the toggle clasp to the strand as well, fold the wire around the clasp and back through the crimp beads.
9: Squash the crimp beads using the flat nose pliers to secure the strand.
10: Trim the excess wire using the cutting pliers.
11. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for the second strand. Continue beading until the second strand is approximately the same length as the first.
12: Add two more crimp beads and the other end of the toggle clasp to the end of the second strand.
13: Bend the wire around the clasp and back through the crimps as you did the first strand.
14: Secure the strand by squashing the crimp beads using the flat nose pliers.
15: Trim the excess wire close to the crimp beads using the cutting pliers.
16: Once all the extra wire has been trimmed your bracelet is finished and ready to wear! This is such a cute way to make a stunning bracelet. Charm connector bracelets look great stacked with other beaded bracelet designs! Style yours up any way you like.

1: Pliers. To make this necklace you will need your cutting pliers and your flat nose pliers.
2: Tiger tail wire.
3: Crimp beads.
4: One lobster clasp.

7: A ruler. You will need this to measure the distance between your beads.
8: Beads of your choice. I used some pearls as the centerpiece of this floating bead necklace and two hematite beads to finish off the ends of the necklace.

The Steps:
1: Measure out a length of tiger tail wire to your desired necklace length. The effect of the floating beads will have a greater impact if you keep your necklace to a collar length.
2: Cut the length of tiger tail wire using the cutting pliers.
3: Take one bead and thread it onto the tiger tail strand. Pull it through until it is at the center of the piece of tiger tail wire.
4: Add a crimp bead to either side of the center bead.
5: Use the flat nose pliers to carefully squash the crimp beads either side of the center bead to secure it in place in the middle of the tiger tail wire.
6: Add another crimp bead and use the ruler to work out where to place your next bead. I placed my beads roughly 3cm (approx 1.4 inches) apart.
7: Carefully squash the next crimp place before adding the second bead and crimp bead.
8: Squash the crimp on the other side of the second bead to secure it in place. If you are using pearls like I did be careful not to damage the surface with the pliers.
9: Repeat steps 6 to 8 for the remaining beads, placing them either side of the first center bead that you added to the strand.
10: Once all your beads have been secured in place, add two crimp beads followed by a hematite bead and a final crimp as well as the lobster clasp to the end of the wire. Fold the end of the wire around the lobster clasp and through the crimps and bead.
11: Carefully squash the crimps on either side of the hematite bead to secure the clasp in place.
12: Once the crimps have been secured, use the cutting pliers to trim the excess tiger tail wire.
13: Repeat steps 10 to 12 to secure the jump ring to the other side of the necklace.
14: Once the clasp and jump ring has been secured in place your delicate floating bead necklace is complete. Pop it on for an elegant addition to your daily style.
